Chocolate
Crinkles
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups white, all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
Batter Instructions:
- Mix oil, chocolate, and granulated sugar.
- Blend in eggs, one at a time.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in separate bowl.
- Slowly add flour mixture into oil, stirring to combine.
- Chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Baking Instructions:
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Pour some confectioner's sugar into a bowl.
- Drop a teaspoon-sized amount of the dough into the sugar and cover it lightly.
- Roll the dough into a ball and place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart. Do not flatten.
- Bake 10-12 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
