Chicken and Pasta Salad

Ingredients

Dressing

½ cup mayo or salad dressing
⅓ cup water
1 tablespoon bottled chili or BBQ sauce
1½ teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1½ teaspoons dried chives, crumbled
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
8 ounces (3 cups) rotini pasta
1 large tomato, coarsely chopped
6 slices of bacon

Instructions

  1. Mix all dressing ingredients in a bowl until blended.
  2. Put chicken in a pot with enough water to cover them. Bring to boil, reduce to low and simmer 8-10 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in the center. Remove and put on cutting board to cool.
  3. Make pasta and drain.
  4. Make bacon and drain.
  5. Combine ingredients with dressing.
