Top-of-the-Stove
Potatoes Au Gratin
Ingredients:
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups diced raw potatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Boil water and salt in sauscepan
- Add potatoes and onions to boiling water. Cover and boil for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid and simmer until water is almost completely evaporated, stirring frequently.
- Add milk, cheese, and pepper.
- Heat thoroughly and serve.
